Settled in Sedona!

 After spending time in Tucson, AZ biking a bit and soaking up sun, we headed north.  Along the way we visited Saguaro National Park (pics attached).  We have never seen landscape so densely populated with Saguaros.  We only hiked a little as it was very hot that day.  Definitely a location to revisit in the future.  We are happy to be settled in Sedona enjoying sunny days, friends, and neighbors but looking forward to our next excursion in RVMakes3.  Take Care Everyone!  Coming to a Driveway near you (soon)!

 

Wandering Through New Mexico

Wandering through New Mexico we discovered White Sands National Park.  Very cool place!  We spent time hiking and touring the 275 square miles of the vibrant white sand dunes.  The pictures attached do not illustrate the vast and beautiful landscape adequately.  If you are ever in the area of White Sands New Mexico it is definitely worth the time.

We are now in Tucson AZ for the next couple days.  The weather is beautiful here.  Then onto Sedona for the next few months.  We are enjoying our time exploring in RVMakes3 and especially our time together.  Karla is thriving and having fun.  We hope to see you soon.  And as always, coming to a driveway near you.  Take care!

  

Texas Travels

We had a great time traveling through Texas.  The weather was perfect!  Tom and Teri were more than gracious allowing us to mooch-dock in their driveway (pic above).  It's always nice spending a couple days with them.  Teri's 2nd grade class gave us quite a send-off (see video above - LOL) as we departed the Dallas area and headed west.  After boondocking for a night in Sweetwater, Texas we continued our travels and now reside in Carlsbad NM.  We plan to spend time in the National Park the next couple of days hiking trails and biking the area.  I hope this blog post finds you well.  RVMakes3 is coming to a driveway near you.   

Hangin' in Hot Springs AR

 Karla and I spent the last 3 days having a great time hiking and enjoying the wonderful scenery in Hot Springs AR.  The overnight temperatures have been challenging with lows in the 30s.  RVMakes3 furnace has not been working very effectively.........another warranty issue to be addressed.  We are managing just fine but the mornings are quite cold within RVMakes3.  Tomorrow we head towards Dallas, TX where we plan to moochdock with Tom and Teri.  Looking forward to seeing them and the warmer weather.  Hope to see you soon......Coming to a driveway near you.  Take care.

  

Chillin' in Jackson TN

 Making our way to Hot Springs National Park.  On the way, we had the pleasure of having lunch in RVMakes3 with sister Sharon (pic).  She met us with some delicious chicken caesar pitas.   Always great to catch up in person.  We visited and toured a distillery in Jackson TN this afternoon and are bunking here for the night.  And of course Karla made a new fiend here (pic).  More to come later in the week.  Coming to a driveway near you.
