"Nati" Home!

Hello All.  Karla and I "shoved off" from Heather's (Lancaster, PA) Saturday morning and after an overnight in Hidden Valley we arrived in Cincinnati Sunday evening.  Thanks to sister Dee for meeting us at RVMakes3 storage and driving us downtown (home).  Karla had a very nice visit with Heather and we had an excellent trip overall that could not be possible without RVMakes3.  Thanks to ALL of you that we met and visited along the way.

We look forward to our next adventure scheduled for departure early October....ultimately finding our way to Sedona, AZ for the winter.  Please visit when you can.

I hope this blog post finds you well.  Karla and I look forward to seeing each and everyone of you soon.  And as always, (we are) coming to a driveway near you.  Take Care!

Karla Back in the "Hood" - RVMakes3 Visits Philly

Good Morning All.  Karla and I spent the last 3 days making our way to Philly with overnight stops in Concord NH, Albany, NY and Wilkes Barre, PA.  Last night we boon-docked (Harvest Host) at Locust Lane Brewery in Malvern, PA.  Karla resided in Malvern, PA for many years and several "old" friends and some family came out to visit with Karla.  Great to see you All!

Today we travel to Lancaster, PA where we plan to mooch-dock at the residence of Heather....a Karla college friend.  Heather visited us in Hidden Valley last summer and we are looking forward to seeing her later today.  Heather and Karla can visit while I get a few things done on RVMakes3.

We hope to see All of you soon.  And as always, (we are) coming to a driveway near you.

Hard to Leave - Acadia National Park

Good Morning All.  It has been a few days since the last post....internet challenges in remote Maine. Karla and I are now is Harpswell, ME mooch-docking at the home of Bill and Suellen....prior next door neighbors of ours in Sedona.  They now reside full-time in Maine.  Thanks to them for the hospitality!  Always great to visit Bill and Suellen.

Earlier this week, we spent several days at Acadia National Park.....AWESOME!  We camped at a very secluded spot on the Schoodic Peninsula.  The Schoodic Peninsula is the only part of Acadia National Park found on the mainland. It boasts granite headlands that bear erosional scars of storm waves and flood tides. Although similar in scenic splendor to portions of Mount Desert Island, the Schoodic Peninsula is a more secluded area. It is intentionally managed by Acadia National Park as a minimally-developed, low-visitation area.  We arrived in time, on Wednesday, to observe the sunset (pic below).  Thursday we biked the entire Schoodic Peninsula/Schoodic Point....many miles of rugged and picturesque coastline.  The pics below do not effectively illustrate the grandeur of the landscape.  Friday, we boarded a ferry from Winter Harbor, ME to Bar Harbor where we dined along the coast and explored the town.

All in all spectacular scenery and wonderful days spent.....very hard to leave.  Karla is doing well and I am so thankful for that.   Take Care All.  And as always, (we are) coming to a driveway near you.
