Sedona Bound!

Last Friday, Karla and I packed RVMakes3 and headed for Arizona.  Our first day found us boondocking at Sumner Crest Winery (Harvest Host) in Portland TN.  We enjoyed the evening on the veranda sipping wine and listening to the live music.  Karla identified a weather pattern bringing cold temperatures to the Plains/Midwest.  So we decided to travel further south finding ourselves in Jackson, MS.  On our way we visited Graceland, TN, the home of Elvis Presley.  From there we headed west through Louisiana boondocking, just a few steps from the 18th green, at Crooked Hollow Golf Course.  The weather was chilly so the course had very little play.  John, the PGA Professional and Manager, was very accommodating and hospitable.  Karla and I enjoyed our time walking the course and eating good food.

Tonight we find ourselves at Cedar Hill State Park in Arlington, TX.  We plan to be here for 3 days resting, relaxing, hiking, biking, and enjoying all the park has to offer.  From here, we will make our way to Carlsbad Caverns National Park and beyond (Sedona, AZ).  Please stay tuned to the blog for further updates.

We look forward to seeing each and everyone of you soon.  And, as always, (we are) coming to a driveway near you!
