After a full day of driving in RVMakes3, Karla and I arrived at Joshua Tree National Park just in time to settle in before nightfall. We spent the last couple days hiking the trails through the huge rock formations and Joshua Trees and biking a bit around the park. We had a great time boondocking "off the grid" (no cell phone or internet service).
The pics attached do not appropriately illustrate the size of the giant rock formations or the vastness of the landscape. Skull rock (see pic with Karla) is one of the many popular attractions. Karla is doing well and enjoying the activity and sunshine.
Today we traveled to Palm Springs and plan to be here for the next couple days. Please stay tuned. We hope to see you soon. And as always, coming to a driveway near you. Take care!
